Today is Theodor Geisel's 106th birthday. We know him as Dr. Seuss.
I have such a soft spot in my heart for Dr. Seuss. Mom used to spend hours and hours and hours reading his books to us. She read them so much that she would sit on the bed with her eyes closed and recite the books as we would turn the pages. I know that my passion for reading was born during those countless hours of reading about Horton, the Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, The Sneetches and more. Thank you Mom and Dr. Seuss!!!!
What's your favorite Dr. Seuss book?

I love the Sneetches too. Those books are not easy to read aloud over and over so kudos to your mom! I just sent my girls off in their jammies to school. That's what the kids do here to celebrate Dr. S. And grandparent guests come to the school to read. Very fun.
I loooove Oh, The Places You'll Go :)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
