There is nothing my Mom can't do. She can bake, cook, reupholster, sew, paint, decorate, quilt, move a household across the world, make stained glass, woodwork, find ancestors that are hiding, and so much more!!!
One of my very favorite things about my Mom is that she is so accepting of everyone. Anyone is welcome in her home at any time. Growing up we always had houseful of "strays" on holidays- single soldiers, families whose husbands are deployed, missionaries, random people she met at the airport- it was WONDERFUL!!!!

ReplyDeleteYour mom is mother to everyone who comes across her doorstep. I have many warm memories of her myself. She is a special woman, and those of us who have her in our lives are better for it!
ReplyDeleteone of my favorite mission memories is making candy trains at your house during the christmas time because that is what i did at home with my family.
