Those Pants!

After I posted this picture of my Dad I received multiple comments on my blog and in person inquiring what the heck was up with those pants. So I decided the pants needed a post dedicated to them. Here's the story behind this fashion find-

On Christmas morning my Aunt Kathleen kept calling to see if we had opened presents yet. We couldn't understand why until Dad opened the package and it contained these beautiful pants. They are Ralph Lauren corduroys. They are very nice- they just happen to have flies embroidered on them. The kind of flies that you fly fish with.
She found them at TJ Maxx or Ross or someplace like that and they happened to be the perfect size. They are $125 pants! It's scary to think that someone would actually pay that kind of money for them. I think Kathleen paid about $20 for them.

I don't think that Dad actually wears them in public. I know he wore them to dinner the first time saw Scott and Kathleen after Christmas but I hope he hasn't worn them publicly since then.
